After several years away from skiing due to injuries, moving states after grad school, and lots and lots of PT, SheJumps' Ikon Pass Scholarship program got me back into it — with rentals, a lesson, a pass, and a community of women getting into snow sports alongside me.
I spent three hours riding in circles at the Jerry Baker Velodrome for a King County Metro ad campaign. It was terrifying. I appear for approximately 21 seconds.
Seattle's only triathlon, in Lake Washington at Seward Park. I did the super sprint in 2024 as Baker cross-training and the full sprint in 2025 as a spine recovery milestone. Doing it again in 2026.
